Our rooibos Ashbys® teas are packaged in 2lb bulk bags and start with the finest South African Rooibos. Rooibos (pronounced roo-ee-boss) tea is the dried and cut branches of the shrub and can be identified by the long needle like appearance. The more familiar red rooibos tea presents a ruby color and soft, sweet taste. These herbal teas are caffeine-free and can be enjoyed by the entire family. 

The extracts used to flavor the tea are a combination of both natural and artificial flavorings. Combining these two types of flavorings brings the best of both to Ashbys® flavored teas; resulting in a wonderfully enhanced natural aroma and flavor that will remain with the tea for a long time.  Best of all, our flavoring extracts contain no sweeteners, sugars or calories and are gluten free.
