Immediately after roasting, our coffee is packaged into 5 lb bulk nitrogen-flushed bags. This process forces nitrogen into the package, replacing the oxygen, that would otherwise quickly age the coffee. The nitrogen preserves the wonderful flavor characteristics of fresh-roasted coffee. Coffee Masters also utilizes “vent tape” technology which allows the coffee to de-gas, but prevents exposure to oxygen.

Typically, the coffee cherry grows two halves of a bean within a single cherry.   Sometimes the coffee cherry produces a single small, round bean rather than two beans – this is known as a Peaberry. Peaberries have a rich, robust flavor.
